It is an interdisciplinary show that, through dance theater,
monumental puppets, music, and multimedia, reinterprets the
cosmogony of the Mictlán, showing the deep relationship of the
being with the spiritual world of the dead, with the support of
the performing arts, it shows the inescapable connection of life
with the rituals, uses and customs that lead us to the current
idiosyncrasy of "FIESTA DE DIA DE MUERTOS".
This show represents the most important festival for the Mexican
people, breaking down the link between their beliefs and the
infinite relationship between being born and dying. It is a
festival that takes place every year, coinciding with the cycles
of the corn harvest, the sustenance of life.
The quality of the Axolotl as a symbol of death, regeneration, and
life, evokes us as a nation, because we are a people who invent
and recreate themselves every day.
We Mexicans dialogue with death, evoke it, play with it, respect
it, and celebrate it. All this added up in a unique and
incomparable way, resulting in our "FIESTA DE DIA DE
MUERTOS."
